Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

Renters must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license. A license and matching payment method must be shown at pickup.

2. Refundable security deposit

Every rental requires a $200 refundable security deposit, collected at pickup.

The deposit is returned after the van is inspected and found in the same condition as at pickup, with fuel at the starting level and no unpaid fees. Deductions may be made for damage, cleaning, missing fuel, tolls, tickets or late returns.

3. Insurance coverage ($150 option)

Renters may be added to Make A Move's insurance for a flat $150 per rental. Coverage is subject to the terms, limits and deductibles of our policy.

Renters who decline must provide proof of their own valid insurance that covers rented commercial vehicles, and are responsible for any loss or damage.

4. Use of our MC number ($150 option)

Renters hauling for hire may operate under Make A Move's MC number for a flat $150 per rental. The renter must follow all FMCSA, DOT and state rules while operating under our authority.

Make A Move may refuse or revoke MC number use for illegal, unsafe or undisclosed loads.

5. Pickup, return & late fees

Vans must be returned on the agreed date and time. Late returns may be charged an additional day at the daily rate.

Vans must be returned clean, with the same fuel level. No smoking, pets or hazardous materials in the vehicle.

6. Reservations & cancellations

Online reservations are requests and are confirmed by dispatch. Prices shown online are estimates and exclude taxes and extra mileage.

Please cancel at least 24 hours before pickup. Reservations cancelled later may be subject to a fee.

7. Renter responsibility

The renter is responsible for all tickets, tolls, towing and fines during the rental, and for securing cargo safely. Only the renter and approved drivers may drive the van.

8. Delivery & freight

Delivery quotes are estimates until confirmed. Customers must accurately describe loads; Make A Move may refuse prohibited or unsafe items.
